LRSVM combat vehicle on the modified NIMR 6×6 chassis for launching 107 mm caliber rockets is designed to deliver fast firing strikes with high density of the enemy's live force and unarmoured equipment, located at ranges up to more than 11 km.
According to available information, this version of the fighting vehicle (BM) was developed in Serbia for the United Arab Emirates. As a means of destruction 107-mm turbojet shells of Turkish company Roketsan are used. However, it cannot be excluded that 107 mm calibre projectiles have been and can be used in Serbia by Engine Development and Production (Belgrade, Serbia). Several years ago, this version of combat vehicle was advertised by Yugoimport S.D.P.R. J.P. (Belgrade, Serbia).
According to the developers, the combat vehicle has high mobility and firepower, combined with small size and short time to move to the combat position and leave the firing position. The BM is best suited for use by rapid deployment forces.
In 2013 the sample of LRSVM PM on the NIMR chassis was demonstrated at the international exhibition IDEX-2013 (Abu Dhabi, UAE) (see photo 1, photo 2, photo 3, photo 4, photo 5, photo 6, photo 7, photo 8, photo 9, photo 10 © I.V. Kuznetsov JSC NPO "SPLAV" Tula).

Composition:
The combat vehicle is placed on the modified chassis of NIMR cross-country vehicle with 6x6 wheel arrangement.
The artillery part (see photo) includes two quick-release monoblocks of 24 disposable transport and launch containers (TPC), swivel base with guidance mechanisms, as well as electrical and hydraulic equipment. The TICs are made of polymer composite materials or steel.
The range of angles of horizontal firing is ±110° to the longitudinal axis of the machine, elevation angles - up to 55°. Guidance can be carried out automatically at the commands of the fire control system, by means of the control panel in the cabin of the PM or by manual drives. Maximum pointing error in automatic mode is ±00-01. The main position for firing is firing through the cab of the combat vehicle. Electronic and mechanical devices of the safety device provide blocking the possibility of firing in unauthorized positions of the unit.
Stabilization of the combat vehicle during firing is provided by two rear jacks and a mechanism for locking the front wheel suspension.
The LRSVM is equipped with a modern automated fire control system, meteorological complex, integrated inertial-satellite navigation system, sighting system and can be used independently or as part of a battery. The fire control system provides calculation of data for firing, fuse installations and automatic compensation of ground slopes of ±5° in longitudinal and transverse planes by introducing appropriate corrections to the guidance angles.
In order to increase survivability, the LM is equipped with a lightning protection system, smoke grenade launchers and individual calculation protection devices against weapons of mass destruction. Additional weapons are personal weapons of calculation numbers placed inside the cabin.
In a camping position, the combat vehicle is disguised as a conventional truck using a canvas tarpaulin (see photo). The tarpaulin tent of the artillery unit protects the weapon system from environmental influences and is deployed in an automated mode.

Testing:
It is alleged that two projectiles were launched towards the Israeli capital, the city of Tel Aviv, from Gaza on the evening of 15 November 2012.
The Palestinian terrorist organization Al-Quds Brigades, the militant wing of the Islamic Jihad, claimed responsibility for the shelling. According to their statement, two Fadjr-5 rockets were fired towards Tel Aviv, indicating that the group had hundreds of such rockets.
