The 9M59 Unmanned Rocket Launchers (Hurricane MLRS) are designed for operational remote setting of anti-tank minefields both in front of the enemy's military equipment units at the edge of the attack and in the area where they are concentrated.
In 1989, the Unmanned Rocket Launcher 9M59 ("Nebula") was completed. Order of the Minister of Defense of the USSR № 0295 of November 28, 1989 the projectile was taken into service of the Soviet Army.
